Our method

Play to Outcome™

A proprietary five-stage methodology that connects every creative and technical decision to a measurable business result.

01 / Why this method exists

Most interactive projects fail for the same reason.

They start with a deliverable, not a problem. A brand briefs an agency for a game. The agency builds a game. The game launches. Nobody measures whether it worked. And when it underperforms, nobody knows why.

We built Play to Outcome to fix this. Every stage of our process is anchored to the outcome defined at the start. Every creative, technical, and strategic decision is made in service of that outcome. And at the end, we measure whether we achieved it.

02 / The five stages

Client sign-off is required at every gate before the next stage is funded. Nothing moves forward until the current stage is approved and documented.

  1. Stage 01

    DecodeOutcome definition and audience mapping.

We run a structured process to define the specific business outcome you are trying to achieve, map your audience's behaviour and motivations, and agree the metrics we will measure at the end. Nothing moves to Stage 2 until this is approved.

    Why it matters
Most projects fail because the goal was never clearly defined. Decode fixes that before a single pixel is designed.
  2. Stage 02

    DesignExperience architecture and concept development.

We translate the Outcome Brief into a concrete interactive concept: the mechanics, the user journey, the experience architecture, and the technology approach. We present this as the Experience Blueprint and refine it with your team before any production begins.

    Why it matters
This is where strategy becomes a testable idea. Catching misalignments here costs hours, not weeks.
  3. Stage 03

    BuildProduction and development.

We assemble the right developers, designers, animators, and writers from our curated network, then produce the experience in structured two-week sprints. You see progress at the end of every sprint and sign off before the next one begins.

    Why it matters
Transparent, milestone-driven production means no surprises at delivery.
  4. Stage 04

    ActivateLaunch and distribution.

We plan and support your launch, coordinate distribution across the right channels, and support the first phase of live operations to make sure the experience actually reaches your audience.

    Why it matters
The best experience fails if the launch is poorly coordinated. Activate is where strategy meets execution.
  5. Stage 05

    MeasureOutcome reporting.

We collect data, report against the metrics defined in Stage 1, and give you a clear picture of what worked, what did not, and what comes next. This stage is not optional. It is how we close every engagement.

    Why it matters
Without measurement, you have spent money on activity. With it, you have invested in evidence.

Every stage has a gate. Every gate has a sign-off.

We do not move from one stage to the next until the current stage's artifact is approved by your team. This protects your budget, keeps scope under control, and ensures that every decision is deliberate.
